Wastewater Department

The Wastewater Department provides sewer service to citizens of Madison and unincorporated areas.  The City maintains and up-to-date extended aeration activated sludge treatment facility.  Currently the City is permitted to treat 1.37 mgd.  The effluent is land applied on 275 acres.
